Middle Section

Grade 6-8

There are 697 Kingswood gentlemen studying in grades 6, 7 and 8. Each grade consists of A, B, C, D
classes and a bilingual media class named as class E.
The gentlemen take part in various educational and extracurricular activities and have achieved
tremendous victories till now. Kingswood gentleman Dilina Dinujaya Ariyawansa from Grade 8A,
won a bronze medal in the Junior Essay Competition for the year 2021 which was started by the
Queen of the United Kingdom.
It is also a special function of the 6-8 section to launch the Annual magazine named “Pipena
Kakuli”with the aim of developing the creative potential of the gentlemen of this section.
The teachers in charge of the grades perform a fabulous job in maintaining the classes and also try
their hardest for the betterment of the gentlemen.

Kingswood gentleman Anjana Thilakumara obtained an island rank at the G C E O/L examination held in the year 2020 and was places amoung the best students in the island.the percentage of the number of gentlemen who passed the G.C.E. O/L examination was 99%
