Eastern cadet band

The Eastern Cadet band of Kingswood College is a team that continues to strengthen the student personality and the fraternal bond of Kingswood gentlemen and is playing a significant role for the betterment.

Annually, camping around the camping sites gives enough experience for cadets to engage not only in school activities, but also gives the drive to involve in community service. Participation in the Annual Regional Independence Day celebrations, and also participating to mark the end of the annual Central Provincial Sports Festival are the best examples of community service presented from the Kingswood Eastern Cadet Band.

The Eastern band of Kingswood College is on a mission to produce independent Sri Lankan citizens with great leadership qualities. The present teacher in charge of the band Mr. R M S S Rathnayaka and coach Mr. K I R Perera work tirelessly to make their mission a successful one.
